The job: Mixer Driver — Class B CDL
Concrete doesn't wait, and neither does a schedule in this business — weather, traffic, and the day's pours move things around, and our drivers roll with it. Safety comes first, every load, every time. You're the last person between our batch plant and the customer's pour, and around here that means something.
What the job looks like
- Daily pre- and post-trip inspections, done right, every day
- Accurate haul, delivery, and pickup tickets
- Loads properly secured; truck kept clean inside and out
- Truck problems reported straight to the Lead Mechanic — small things stay small that way
- Customer service at the chute: you're the face of the company on every site
- Willing to help on the jobsite when a crew needs a hand
- Punctual progress against the day's schedule, operated safely
What we need from you
- Valid Class B CDL and 2 years of experience
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Flexible with hours, travel, and mountain weather
- Reliable transportation to the Yard, neat appearance, physically able to climb in and out of the truck
- Clear communication, strong work ethic, and full compliance with company safety requirements
- The desire to be part of a team — we're small enough that everybody matters
What driving here comes with
- Local routes. Our concrete stays local, and so do you.
- Earned days off. A scheduled-day-off program that rewards safe driving and well-kept trucks — drivers earn it, and it's real. Started this year and it's working.
- Everything you need is at the Yard. Fuel, ice, tools, supplies, and a real tool crib — you gear up in one stop and go. We built it so our people have the least reason to stop anywhere else.
- Your gear, taken care of. Milwaukee pack-out boxes on the trucks through our safety program — your gloves and tools live outside the cab, organized and dry.
- Trucks worth driving. Our own three-bay shop and mechanics keep the fleet right, and new trucks are arriving with Plant 2. Report a problem and it gets fixed — drivers here aren't fighting their equipment.
- Benefits. Health, dental, vision, and short- and long-term disability, with a company contribution toward the cost after 60 days.

No resume? That's fine. Plenty of good drivers don't keep one. Call (828) 734-1115 or come by the Yard at 4182 Jonathan Creek Road and ask for the office. Paper was never the job.
