We're both from right here. Brandy grew up on Jonathan Creek — the same road our batch plant sits on today. Jason was raised on his family's farm over in Sandymush; his grading work grew into Appalachian Sitework in 2016.
The concrete came from growth. Our sitework kept taking on more jobs, and more jobs meant more concrete — so in January 2023 we decided to batch our own, right here at the Yard. It grew into a business of its own: our own trucks, our own drivers, our own mix designs, serving the pump crews, builders, and contractors we've known most of our lives. This fall, Plant 2 comes online and doubles what we can do. We're grateful every day that we get to do this work, in this place, with these people.
ASI has been a family company from the first load. Our boys grew up in the business and carry real responsibility on the yard and in the field today. Off the clock we're a farm family — cattle, a garden, fair weekends — and we wouldn't trade it.
None of it works without our crew. We've been blessed with talented, hardworking people from the very start, and we invest in long-term relationships — with our customers and with our people — because we're building something meant to last. And when a neighbor needs help around here, you help. That's not a program; it's how we were raised.
We're everyday people who believe in hard work, being part of our community, and keeping faith at the center of everything we do.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
— Philippians 4:13
With much love,
Jason and Brandy
